Build your brand on line

You might recall from earlier posts that I actively encourage all my clients to build their brand on line and the resource that I highly recommend whether or not you have a web site, Ziggs.

I don’t know about you, but when I am looking to meet people or even after a networking event, I have got into the habit of checking out their profile and history on the search engines.

There are multiple strategies requiring time and effort to get yourself listed in the search engines so that your profile is found, but for those of us who want to guarantee you will always be found, there is no simpler or more cost effective solution than Ziggs.

They make it really easy to keep your profile up to date and what’s even better is that you get notified as soon as someone has clicked through to your profile – delivered right into your email box.

For a VERY SMALL investment they will guarantee that your profile will always be found in the search engines with a top right hand listing and this last year they have expanded their service so that you can add all your contact details wherever you are in the globe – see their recent press release (yes featuring yours truly).

One of the key things you need to do if you have a web site is make sure that your profile is kept up to date – there is nothing worse than going into someones web site and seeing it has not been updated for at least a year. 

I recommend that you assign a specific day each month to update your basic information – call it your web development day – and make sure that you add all those new press releases about you,articles you have written or new testimonials from delighted clients.  If you aren’t comfortable about making the changes yourself you can appoint a web master or virtual assistant to help you.

I invested an hour last week updating my Ziggs profile to feature my new solutions and a call to action.  I also added the link to my profile at the bottom of my email signature.

I am so delighted that I did because this week I was I was thrilled to find out that I had been awarded the prestigious honour of being Ziggs first international award winner of their Zbest awards – you can check out the press release here.  Within 24 hours of the award being sent to their PR wire, I had about 100 people viewing my profile – 100 people aware of me that had not known of my existence 24 hours before.  From the west coast of the US, through to Canada, Europe and Asia, I could see people clicking on my profile – it was so exciting.

I do hope that my call to action and the links to my solutions that I featured in my Ziggs profile may even encourage a couple of them to join Biz Growth Live.
