Build your brand through joint ventures

One of the great ways to extend your reach and build your brand is through joint venture strategies.

But how might people assess if you are the right person to connect with them?  Well here are 3 tips from Seth Godin:

• is this going to be a success?
• is it worth my time?
• is this person able to do what they say they can do – how credible are they

I also think people ask them selves – ‘do I like, trust and respect this person’ – in other words the same questions your clients ask before they hire you.

So the next time you are looking to JV with someone work why not prepare ahead of the connection with them and check that you can answer these questions.
