- Join the chapters of local organisations relevant to your business – where your clients are members
- Take an active role in those organisations so that your profile will be raised, for example speak, write, volunteer or take a leadership role so you get known by more of the members
- Lecture in the most prestigious local university or college
- Write, write and write some more – from articles in newspapers, the publications your target market reads and even better, author your own book showcasing your expertise – self publishing has made this very accessible to us all
- Host your own events either in your home or in clubs, restaurants or hotels or virtually through teleseminars or webinars. The objective here is to provide relevant and timely content that will be of interest to your ideal clients – make sure that you are not being overly commercial. Instead WOW the attendees with your expertise
- Speak, speak and speak some more – by being on the platform you are immediately considered as an expert and you can be sure that if your content is relevant and compelling and you are an effective speaker, it will lead to further speaking engagements
- Encourage the registration to your news letter – be that delivered by snail-mail or email. Your objective is to build your list of people who are interested in your services and solutions and through permission marketing you provide them with ongoing relevant information and it keeps you in their minds eye.
