The recently published Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) national report for Ireland indicates a thriving aspiration for individuals setting up their own business.
Almost one in ten of the adult population living in Ireland is actively planning or has recently established a business – almost 2,600 new businesses are set up each month.
You can access the report here.
This does make me wonder what corporations will do in response to this potential talent haemorage with the demographic profile of the country and Europe shifting with an ageing population.
