Masterminding for your success

Why is it that we are often hesitant to ask for assistance and help from others? As owners of our own business by not engaging the brilliant minds of fellow colleagues and friends we may just be missing the vital answer that will accelerate our professional and personal success.
The power of masterminding with others is truly amazing. And guess what when you ask someone to engage with you towards fulfilling your vision it’s more than likely they will say yes because they are honoured to do so and that you value their opinion.
Here is a great example of a colleague and friend of mine, Wayne Kelly, who has just created a new mastermind group for his new programme 52 Motivational Interviews which will launch on May 15th.
Wayne’s goal is to raise US$1,000,000 by the end of this year for the Make a Wish Foundation International and he has contacted a number of his friends and colleagues across the globe – from Canada to Australia to assist him in what he has called ‘Wayne’s Dream Team’ (yes I am honoured to be a member of his team).
The objective of the team is to support him brainstorming ideas for the launch and delivery of his vision, and to generally support him is his goal.
One of the interesting things about masterminding with others that it can influence your behaviours and action even if you have not connected with your mastermind team…as Wayne commented in his email to us all before we even met that just he process of putting in place the support has made him feel accountable.
I’ll certainly update you on Wayne’s progress and I’d encourage you to stop by 52 Motivational Interviews as Wayne has an amazing programme on offer – interviews with experts including T Harv Eker and Mark Victor Hansen to name just two of the fifty two experts featured – and guess what these interviews will help you enjoy greater success in life and at the same time help others in the process.
So why not consider who you would love to have on your ‘dream team’ to help you realise the success you desire in your business – once you have the people in mind it’s only a small step to go ahead and ask them for assistance.
