What holds you back from implementing your goals

Yes it’s that time of year when we look to establishing our goals for the year ahead.
I’ve just been developing the plans for a new programme I am launching this month called Kick Start Your Year where I will be providing the guidance and frameworks to help people get clear on their priorities for 2006 and then provide a framework of support to help them translate these ideas into action.
I’ve been planning the framework of a support booklet to make available to clients and potential clients and it got me wondering what holds us back from turning our plans and goals into action?
I know myself that sometimes I find myself procrastinating, not taking action soon enough – usually because it’s not something I am passionate about doing. It is rare that I don’t have the knowledge or capability to take action.
Sometimes it’s that I am afraid it will not be good enough – yes the perfectionist in me.
But lets be honest, for most of us, we are not in roles that could lead to injury or fatality of ourselves or others.
Therefore implementing something that is 80% of your ideal solution is going to deliver greater results that 0% of something we are still working on waiting for it to be perfect.
So what will it take for you to turn your goals into gold in 2006?
Are you waiting for perfect circumstances or can you happy to take risk and strike now before your competition does?
P.S. if you would like a copy of my FREE ebook Real Results, do email me and I’d be delighted to send you a copy so that you can kick start 2006 and make it YOUR best year ever!
