Blog Action Day – have you registered to take part?

As you probably know by now, I am passionate about business blogging and all the more so when your articles and posts can make a difference to the clients you serve.

But what would be the impact if across the globe all the bloggers of the world united around a common issue? What difference could we make collectively?

Well that is the thought behind October 15 2007 - Blog Action Day. As 2007 will be the inaugural year, Blog Action Day will be co-ordinating bloggers to tackle the issue of the environment.

If you host a blog or blogs you can participate by publishing a post on your blog that relates to the environment. 

Posts do not need to have any specific agenda, they simply need to relate to the issue of the environment in whatever way is relevant to you as the blogger and your community of readers.

So will you register your blog to particpate in Blog Action Day and join some already registered high profile bloggers on the 15 October so that we can have our say on issues relating to the environment?

Hmm – and if Damien is reading this perhaps we could do something similar around the Irish Blog Awards 2008 where the 2000 plus Irish bloggers unite and post on a common issue on one day next Spring? I wonder what a difference we could make in Ireland? What would suggest we collectively posted about?
