Net Visionary Awards 2007: Finalists Announced

Well with bated breath we waited and then came the email from the Irish Internet Association confirming that I’ve been selected to be in the final three of the Net Visionary Awards for Biz Growth News in the category for Best Blogger.

Thank you all SO MUCH for voting – as you might recall the Net Visionary Awards are open to a public vote and then the winners from each category will be ratified by the IIA Board and announced at the Net Visionary Awards event on the 15th November at the Mansion House Dublin.

I am in esteemed company along side Denise Cox and Grandad - both definately worth a read. Good luck guys.

I have to say it’s lovely to have our contributions to the Irish blogosphere recognised.

And well done to the team at the IIA for a very professionally managed process. They kept us informed all along the way with the nomination process and they kept to the timetable that they publicised. Unlike another current awards process in the Irish internet world who seemed to move the goal posts at each stage. That for me is evidence of the IIA continuing to build a strong brand as the professional association representing the industry here in Ireland.
