Brand building audio

Audio is one of the simplest and effective tools to bring your brand to life – on your web site, your blog, or creating audio information products.

What better way for a potential client to get a sense of what you are like than through your voice – it’s far more impactful than a static web page of copy – no matter how great the copy is.

We create audio products continuously including recording:

Because this is part of our business, we set up secure pages so that we can send people access to their audio. But what if you don’t have that capability in-house or you don’t want to outsource?

Do not try to email it – it will require far too much bandwidth. But here are some other reasons not to email audio files:

  1. Many internet service providers (ISP’s) have a limit on the size of files you can send as attachments.  So there’s a good chance your file will be intercepted by their filters particularly if you are sending to a corporate client with high security firewalls
  2. And many people don’t know what to do when they receive the audio – now to save it to their hard drive or a CD for future use.

So here are two straight forward resources you can use to send audio files:

Dropload.com is a free resource that you can register to use – they take you step by step through the process of uploading your file and then you provide them with the setails of who you want to access the file.  They in turn will receive an email with a link to downoad the. (The link expires in 7 days).

YouSendIt.com, a similar service and they offer a premium service which gives you a few addtional features like tracking downloads of your files.

Both services protect your files by offering limited downloads and download links that expire within a specific time period.
